Pregnant Belly

FOR IMMEDIATE

ASSISTANCE PLEASE PROCEED TO GMH EMERGENCY ROOM

 Decrease in fetal movement
(If your baby is NOT moving/kicking at least 10 times in one hour after laying on your left side and eating or drinking cold water or juice.)

 

Contractions:

  • For your 1st baby: every 3-5 minutes apart for 2 hours

  • For your second baby or more: every 5-7 minutes apart for 1 hour

  • POSITIVE GBS (Group Beta Strep) test: every 10-15 minutes apart

​

Water bag breaks or leaks
(Whether contractions are present or not. Report color of fluid)

​

Vaginal bleeding (like a period). Note color.


Headache, blurred vision or seeing spots before your eyes.​

​

Upper right abdominal pain that won’t go away

​

Increased swelling or elevated blood pressure (>140/90)

  • (If your provider has you monitoring your blood pressure at home)
